“NO ONE should suffer and live in pain like I did!”

-  Ricky Springer

Because of Ricky’s battle to obtain a diagnosis and appropriate treatment, he decided to use his racing as a platform to educate others about Eosinophilic disorders.

In 2009, Ricky started the Racing for a Cause campaign, to create awareness of Eosinophilic Disorders and raise funds to support APFED - American Partnership for Eosinophilic Disorders– in the education of the general public and medical community about these diseases.

Since the start of the campaign, Ricky has educated over 2.9 MILLION people about this diseases.  He also established the Racing for a Cause Team, where drivers from around the World help create awareness by endorsing the campaign and carrying the Racing for a Cause logo on their cars / karts.
