Springer wins first race of 2016

(1/9/16)  McDonough's Ricky Springer dominated the track for Race # 3 of the Winter Flurry Series at Atlanta Motor Speedway.  Battling the weather was the biggest challenge of the day as the misting kept the track too wet for the Bandoleros to run most of the morning.  As track officials managed to get the track dry enough, the race was on to beat the incoming rain.

Springer qualified on the pole with one of his fastest lap times ever at AMS.  He dominated the field, leading flag to flag and crossing the finish line  with an incredible lead on the rest of the pack.

Springer's win moved him up to 1st in the Winter Flurry Series Points Standings.

Springer wins 2015-2016 Winter Flurry Series Championship in the Outlaws Division at Atlanta Motor Speedway

(4/3/16) Ricky Springer earned his 2nd consecutive Championship this past Saturday at Atlanta Motor Speedway.  Due to a rain out in March, the Bandolero classes ran 2 races as part of the Winter Flurry Series.Starting positions for the first race were based off of practice times.  Ricky started the first race in p2.

After a rain delay, track officials decided to use the original practice times from earlier in the day to determine starting positions, so Ricky started in p2 again.

Ricky's finishes on Saturday kept him in the top spot in the points, which he led for over 1/2 the series and earned him the Championship in the Outlaws Division.
